As we continue navigating reopening Covenant and meeting in person for Sunday morning worship please keep in mind these things:

First, attendance on Sunday mornings is a matter of conscience (Gal. 5:6). For some brothers and sisters, they will refrain from entering the building by faith. Out of concern for their health and the welfare of others, some individuals will not participate in person, but can joyfully worship through the on-line links.

Second, attendance on Sunday mornings is a matter of compassion (Gal. 5:13-15). For some brothers and sisters, they will attend the service by faith. We are asking that you approach the worship in the sanctuary with eagerness to follow the elders and deacons, who will be wearing gloves and are encouraged to wear masks, by adhering to these guidelines:

  1. Wait to be seated and dismissed by an usher.
  2. In the event that it is needed, there will be overflow seating in the Fellowship Hall with a livestream of the service. There will also be a dedicated space reserved for elderly/high-risk people.
  3. Anticipate being seated 6 feet apart from non-family congregants as we direct you to sit on every other pew.
  4. Be aware that the Sanctuary doors will remain propped open as the building will be restricted to use of only Sanctuary, bathrooms, Fellowship Hall and surrounding hallways.
  5. Request a water bottle and/or individual hand sanitizer from the usher, if you so desire.
  6. Encourage the officers and staff who love you and might be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).

Lastly, Sunday School has been canceled until further notice

May our Faithful Savior equip us to exalt Christ, engage in community, and expand for the Great Commission this Sunday by faith as we celebrate Christ and Him crucified (1 Cor. 2:2).
