Introducing to the Family of God

“Show hospitality to one another without grumbling.” 1 Peter 4:9

PLANTING MINISTRY

plant verb: meaning to place (a seed, bulb, or plant) in the ground so that it can grow (synonyms: sow, seed); establish (an idea) in someone’s mind (synonyms: instill, impress)

The Planting Ministry is designed to introduce others to the Family of God at Covenant with the ultimate goal of cultivating new church members. God is the gardener who grows his church. We desire to know Christ and make Christ known to our friends and neighbors in the Auburn-Opelika community. Covenant provides a place where you can connect to others through faith.

We love welcoming visitors to Covenant! Join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am for Sunday School and at 10:45 am for our morning worship service. One of our greeters at the front entrance can direct you or answer any of your questions. Join us on the 3rd Sunday of every month for a visitors lunch to meet and get to know more about our members and our Pastor, Jere Scott Bradshaw. If you are interested in becoming a member or just learning more about Covenant, you can join one of our Covenant Life Seminar new members class, which take place every semester. We hope you can find a home and a community to walk through life with here at Covenant.

For specific questions contact Bob Norman or Jack Johnson, our Planting team coordinators.
