College Ministry

Reformed University Fellowship

at Auburn University
Join RUF Monday Nights at 8 p.m. in Dudley B6 Auditorium
(in the Architecture Building)

More than just a ministry on the university campus, RUF seeks to be a ministry for the university. We strive to serve in this unique stage of a student’s life in the world they live in, exploring together how the Lordship of Christ informs every area of life.

RUF International

Reformed University Fellowship International

Friday Food & Fun
the White House (215 N. 10th St. Opelika, AL)

RUF International welcomes students and scholars from around the world to Auburn University and the Auburn-Opelika community. We love these international friends, not only for fun friendships and the global perspective they bring to our lives, but because we believe that each one of these individuals is created in the image of God. These students from far away lands have become our neighbors, and it is a privilege to serve them. We do this through meeting physical needs (airport pickups, Walmart runs, etc), building community (weekly dinners, cultural events, etc) and providing a safe environment to explore the foundations of the Kingdom of God. While we are a resource to these students who are far away from family and friends, we also seek to be a resource for the local community, promoting international friendships and cultural exchange.

Matthew&Sherrene

Matthew DeLong

Minister

Matthew grew up in Florence, KY and attended Murray State University. After graduating with a degree in Music Education in 2002, Matthew moved to Alabama to serve at a Christian camp. During his time there, he felt called to attend seminary, and headed over to Westminster Seminary California (MDiv 2010), where he met Sherrene (MA Theological Studies, 2011). Somehow, Matthew convinced Sherrene to marry him, leave her large Indian family in southern California, and move to Alabama with him. They were married on 9-10-11, adopted their dog, Bhindi, three months later, and are excited to welcome the nations at Auburn University together.
